One big draw of the Sacramento region is the weather.  The region typically gets about 20 inches of rain a year and it mostly occurs from November to April with an average of 269 sunny days including February which tends to be sunny.  In the winter the average low temperature is 39 degrees and the average high summer temperature is 93 degrees.  Sacramento can experience 100 degree days, but it's a dry heat and we usually have the benefit of the Delta Breezes which cool the evenings and nighttimes down with ocean breezes which channel up the rivers and fan out over the land most hot summer evenings.  Nearly everyone has a working Air Conditioner and many also have swimming pools.
